The eSIM, also known as the Embedded SIM, represents the digital transformation of the physical SIM card. Integrated directly into smartphones as a compact microchip, the eSIM houses all the necessary data for seamless connectivity to MTALK network.
Our eSIM are designed only for data solutions and do not come with a phone number.
To initiate an internet connection using the MTALK eSIM:
- go to Mobile Data settings,
- turn on the MTALK mobile plan,
- activate Data Roaming,
- choose MTALK internet as the main connection.
Each QR code is a unique identifier that is exclusively assigned to a single device. Once the eSIM profile has been deleted, it cannot be used on another device or the same device again. This ensures that the code is secure and is only utilized on the intended device.
If you have an Apple device, you can use both your SIM card and your eSIM. For phone calls and SMS, use the SIM card, and for cellular data, use the MTALK eSIM. Please remember if you leave your SIM card activated, your network operator may charge you data roaming fees to receive or make phone calls or SMS.
If you cannot find your eSIM QR code, please contact our customer support team at care@mtalkesim.com. We will resend the code on your registered mail id.
After purchase, we will send a QR code on your mail id. Then go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM / Add Data Plan and scan your QR code. Your phone will allow you to define a unique name to this data. You can now swap between your MTALK data plan and your original provider's plan. The MTALK data plan will only function once you arrive your destination. When you arrive, enable data roaming on your mobile and activate the MTALK data plan.
It depends on bundle which you have purchased. Normally, MTALK eSIM is valid for one year.
